A Pick 'n' Choose puzzle.

This is an example of a Pick 'n' Choose puzzle. The complete puzzle is printed with all of the solution letters in place. In addition, each cell of the puzzle contains not only the solution letter, but also a second (different) letter.

The task of the solver is to decide which of the two letters to keep (possibly circle these letters) and which to delete (possibly cross them out).

As with all Crossword Express puzzles, there is a Java applet which allows Pick 'n' Choose puzzles to be solved interactively on the Internet.

Registered owners of the Pro version of Crossword Express can use this applet at no additional cost to publish interactive Pick 'n' Choose puzzles in their own web site.

A sample puzzle can be tried out by clicking the graphic image at the left. The sample includes three puzzles of varying difficulty for you to try.

A Pick 'n' Choose Puzzle you can print.

If you point your mouse cursor to any location within the bounds of the puzzle, then most web browsers will dispaly a set of icons in the top left hand corner of the puzzle area.

One of these icons will be a printer, and clicking it will result in the puzzle being sent to your printer.
